I grew up surrounded by art. My father was an art teacher at my local high school where I spent most of my younger years playing in his classroom. I have fond memories of going to school with him. I would draw on the whiteboard and learn how to make pinch pots out of clay. Needless to say that I was always creating. This is where my passion for art and design stemmed.

I graduated in spring of 2021 from Lindenwood University in St. Charles MO, with a BFA in graphic design. In school, I realized my passion for design in social media through my own instagram project. From then on, I focused my projects around social media trends.

I currently work as a graphic designer for a local St. Louis shoe designer called Footwear Unlimited. I focus mainly on creating campaigns and designing assets for Baretraps shoes, including emails and website assets. Another major duty I perform is designing and managing the @baretrapsshoes social media accounts. I also play a huge role in our photoshoot concepts, where I aid in scene design and lead in wardrobe styling. You can see this work in my portfolio.

In addition to design and social media, I have always been interested in working within the fashion industry. During school, I started a social media project where I explored content creation for fashion companies. I am continuing this project and you can find it at @taylormisukonis. I also worked multiple fashion retail jobs throughout college. In these positions I was able to combine my skills in design and my interest in fashion to jump start my career and expand my style palette.
